The Arizona Association of Air Medical Services is the state chapter of the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS), the national trade group representing air ambulance providers. While AAMS continues to work on behalf of the air medical industry to advocate, collaborate, and educate for the benefit of AAMS members and industry stakeholders, the "Arizona Association of Air Medical Services" is a state association, founded in 2014.

The AZ AAMS has collaborated on the following safety initiatives:
a standardized helicopter landing zone criteria.
Gurney Riser program. The AZ AAMS has provided 25 gurney risers to regional hospitals with a focus on patient, and flight crew safety. (please include some of the photos that were provided).
